How to source freeze-dried ingredients

Freeze-Dried.co supplies freeze-dried fruit, vegetables and kefir to manufacturers, distributors and brands. This page explains how to specify an order and what happens after you write to us. It is not a consumer shop. Prices are not listed: every quotation is written for the enquiry in front of us, on EXW terms.

What freeze-drying changes

Freeze-drying freezes the ingredient and then removes the water under vacuum. The piece keeps its shape, and the flavour stays concentrated in what is left. Packed and stored as the specification describes, the ingredient is light and dry, and it is used where a manufacturer wants fruit or vegetable that stays crisp in a dry mix or that moves back towards its original texture when water is added.

It is an ingredient, not a finished snack line. The same fruit can go into chocolate, bakery, cereal, dairy, beverages or a supplement blend. The right format depends on how you dose it, not on a ranking of which fruit is better.

Formats, and how to choose one

The catalogue lists products as whole pieces, slices, dice, halves, chips, crumble and powder, depending on the fruit or vegetable. Whole pieces and slices suit inclusions in chocolate, bakery and cereal, where the piece should still be recognisable. Dice and crumble suit bars and mixes where a smaller piece is easier to dose. Powder is for colour, flavour and blending into drinks, fillings and supplements.

Do not assume a default cut. Name the format in the enquiry. If you are unsure, say what the ingredient has to do in your process — stay visible, dissolve, or colour a mass — and we will confirm which of the listed forms fits.

What to send with an enquiry

A useful enquiry names the product, the format, an approximate quantity and the destination country. The destination matters because quotations are EXW: the goods are made available at dispatch, and any freight beyond that depends on the country, the port or airport, and the volume. If you need a delivered figure, send those details and we will confirm it in writing for that enquiry. There is no delivered price list on this website.

Also say whether you need bulk packing for your own production or a private-label pack. Private label is its own project: pack format, artwork and a production slot. Ask for the current lead time in the same thread. A figure from an old email is not a promise for the next order.

Documents worth requesting

Ask for the specification sheet for the exact product and format, and for a certificate of analysis on the lot you will receive. The certifications named on the certifications page are the ones to ask about. Coverage is not the same for every product. Organic grade, where it is offered, depends on the season and the farm, so ask which items are available in that grade before you print a label.

We send the document that matches the lot, not a generic claim. If a certificate file is what your customer requires, say so when you enquire and we will confirm what we can attach to that order.

How an order actually starts

Use the catalogue request, the contact form, or b2b@freeze-dried.co. You can also collect products into a quotation request from the catalogue. A sample, if you need one, is requested in the same email: name the product, the format and the address it should go to.

Nothing on the website is a binding offer. Quantity, price, packing and dispatch are confirmed in the quotation and then in the order. The company that operates this website is Mobe Concept Dış Ticaret Ltd. Questions about an order go to b2b@freeze-dried.co. How personal data is handled is described in the privacy policy, including GDPR and Turkish KVKK. The terms of service explain that the text on the site is information, not a contract.
